FOWS organises activities and events to raise money for the school, however, FOWS is about much more than simply fundraising. The PTA provides closer links between home and school, and it is an excellent way to bring staff, parents and friends together socially and in support of the school, working towards a common goal. It is fun too - just ask any of the Committee members or volunteers!!

As a registered charity our official charitable purposes are…

• Developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school.
• Engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which supports the school and advance the education of the pupils.

In its time FOWS has raised thousands of pounds, which has been spent on equipment and resources to enhance our children’s education and whole school experience as well as the school’s facilities.

Please note - We do not manage any aspect of the school or its curriculum and are not school governors. Any questions or concerns you may have regarding your child’s education or school life should be addressed to their teacher or the school office.
